APS Electronic Flyer Approval and Distribution Process

Effective September 6, 2018, APS will transition to a new electronic flyer distribution system called Peachjar. School sites will no longer distribute paper flyers, but instead send out electronic flyers digitally. This includes flyers from the school as well as flyers from any of the school's parent groups. Flyers from other approved community organizations will be distributed through email and posted on school websites after approval by the district. This is part of our ongoing efforts to be more environmentally friendly by reducing the amount of paper copies, saving thousands of dollars and removing a significant administrative burden from teachers, office staff and volunteers.

Flyer Approval Guidelines for Community Groups & Outside Organizations

APS will approve flyers from community groups and outside organizations that adhere to the following guidelines:

  • The flyer supports the educational mission of APS that every student shapes a successful future.  
  • The flyer highlights educational experiences for students that promote a healthy use of leisure time and/or special enrichment activity.
  • No commercial flyers shall be posted or distributed unless its purpose is to further a school activity and there has been prior approval by the school district.
  • Organizations that charge service fees or a tuition for their events or programs are encouraged to provide scholarship opportunities for students.
  • The flyer should be submitted in both English and Spanish. That could be two separate flyers as one PDF document, or it could be a one-page flyer that incorporates both English and Spanish.

Please note: Peachjar will automatically add the following disclaimer to all flyers in English and Spanish: "Aurora Public Schools neither endorses nor represents, in any way, the products and/or services provided." (Outside organizations will need to accept this disclaimer upon requesting approval from Peachjar.)

Flyer Submission Process for Community Groups & Outside Organizations

To request flyer approval, follow the steps below. Once payment is submitted and the flyer is approved, it will be emailed to all parents of the schools you have selected and posted on the selected schools’ websites. Paper flyers from outside organizations will no longer be distributed at schools.

Through Peachjar’s platform, your flyer will be automatically submitted to the district office for approval. District staff will review the material and approve or deny based on the guidelines listed above. Peachjar charges a fee for this service ($25 per flyer per school), which is typically much less than the cost to copy and deliver paper flyers to each school. Please note that Peachjar provides a bulk discount.

  • Click SIGN UP
  • Select the "Program Provider" account type.
  • Upload your flyer for approval.

Please NOTE:  If you are a parent group at one of our APS schools, these instructions do not apply. You will work with staff at your school to upload and distribute your electronic flyers.
